This guitar by Hofner contains the perfect synthesis of simplicity and luxury, with an outstanding combination of carefully selected Cedar top and a body made from the breath-taking look, Laurel wood.
Fingerboard and is very old ebony. Neck, back and sides employ a sturdy satin varnish finish, whereas the top is sealed with a wafer-tin finish of natural resins.
The active pickup system is fitted without any opening in the sides or back to preserve the subtle and natural aesthetics and tone of the instrument. A small thumbwheel for volume control is discreetly hidden at the underside of the sound hole. With a nut width of 45mm, the guitar is ideal for finger picking.
