The U1PEQ 121cm upright piano is made entirely in the Kakegawa factory in Japan and represents Yamaha's entry point into professional upright pianos. Features include five solid bonded back-posts for stability, solid spruce soundboard and reinforced hammers for refined tone and a soft-close fall board with lock for protection of fingers, centre pedal mute function for playing at reduced volume and a long music rest for ease in handling musical scores. This model features an added Silencing system called an SH3 type SILENT Piano™ which allows you to practice with headphones at any time without disturbing others, whilst maintaining the authentic feel of a playing a real acoustic piano action.
