BillyÛªs custom signature set using his preferred 43-110 gauges.
These strings, custom gauged by Billy Sheehan, provide the time tested, world famous, Rotosound Swing Bass set with two special advantages.
Billy says
A slightly lighter Û÷GÛª (0.043Û_) this provides a more even string to string tension across the neck and makes bending easier.
A heavier Û÷EÛª string (0.110Û_) which again provides a more even string to string tension,eliminating string Û÷flapÛª or Û÷rattleÛª and makes for a tighter low end with increased mass for more volume in the lower register.
The (0.110Û_) gauge also facilitates tuning down to a low Û÷DÛª without the string bottoming out or loss of intonation.
These Billy Sheehan bass strings are manufactured from Stainless Steel wrap wire with hexagon cores
